Welcome, I am Amber, my  experience counseling families, couples, children, and individuals. I have 9 years of experience in counseling, 5 years with children and families in the school system, and 4 years with private practice individuals and couples. I completed an internship working with children and adults in a hospital setting experiencing a crisis.

My approach

I present a therapeutic alliance that is unbiased and offer an ideal short and long-term client experience you can return to as needed comfortably. I offer a note of choice in treatment planning and create an ideal counseling experience with written outcomes. I provide resources and skill-building focuses to reinforce the process.

My focus

Areas of focus: Anxiety, depression, and lifestyle development. Using reframing, solution focused, and interventions. 

My communication style

I am an assertive communicator. I often prefer to listen; however, I will be active in responding with intention during the session and supporting communication based on goals.
